A group of riders in the distance pauses for a powwow before continuing on toward Nara. As mentioned earlier, some cyclists use this bikepath for training purposes, traveling at high speed - and local residents often use it as a strolling path. So keep an eye open for fast-moving bikers and slow-moving baby carriages.
