Although it’s a nice little town in its own right, the main reason I like to stay in Ozu is to visit the even more wonderful town of Uchiko nearby (which you also saw starting here in the Story & Photos section for the Shikoku route). If you look very carefully (or at least have a good imagination), you can see me in the mirror taking the photo.

Uchiko is a photographer’s dream, so I could have chosen any number of photos with which to end the story. But I decided on this one - because KANcycling really needs to get some love from the many cat fans who seem to be everywhere on the Internet. Also, this is the way I feel, too, after spending some time in a relaxing place like Uchiko. Eventually I roused myself enough to cycle to the train station to begin my homeward journey.
