Right after Misaki is the turnoff onto the tiny road around the north side of the peninsula. The initial road is narrow, barely a single lane.

Jizo statues (statues of Jizo, the guardian diety of children and safe childbirth) are a common sight by the roadside, but I can’t remember seeing any right beside a sheer embankment - especially on a tiny road in the boondocks like this one.
