This is just down from the highest point, along a lovely, long downhill. The weather couldn’t have been better.
There actually seemed to be traces of permanent snow on the hills - hard to believe in the heat, but at night it would get quite chilly at this elevation, so it’s possible. There was also steam rising in places in this onsen area.
